It's all the rage in the forums. That is, Tobi's identity is causing landslides and volcanic eruptions.
I've learned a lesson. NEVER READ CHAPTERS THAT INVOLVE KAKASHI AT 6 IN THE MORNING ON A SCHOOL DAY.
I had an intense build up of strife and it all came out during my lunch break. Then I started moping around with various mood swings. One hour I'm wallowing in the shadows and the next hour I'm smiling because of Kakashi's outfits in the chapter.

WHY DOES THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN?
Wait, let me rephrase that question.
WHY DOES THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN TO KAKASHI? You know how much therapy he's gonna need to go through because of this? (Psh, not to mention all the other tragedies hanging around his past.)

I REFUSE TO HAVE KAKASHI DYING.
If it happens, I will SERIOUSLY rage quit. Lol, it's already a pain to see Kakashi's broken composure.

I could watch Amon resist blood bending all day.
Hell, I even watched his speech a couple million times. I'm definitely gonna go back and watch Amon's onslaught against Tarrlock again.

I don't think I'll be able to sit through this movie if Kakashi acts this way...

For some reason I even put up my hood. Probably to hide from the nonexistant eyes staring at me. Hahahah!

You all should have seen me when I learned that the dub was out.

After typing up part of a fanfiction, I went on youtube and started watching Kakashi in various video games. And while searching, I came across a video that said something about Obito's speech in English. At first I thought it was just another fan dub, but then when I rolled over it, my eyes literally widened. Hahahah, I immediately ran away from the video after it played for two seconds. (It was an intuition. A Kakashi fan girl doesn't need to hear the audio to know that it's the real deal.)

I sat there all fidgeting seeing that the dub had ran up to about... the 126 episode or something like that. But that's beside the point! I was freakin' laughing to myself when I saw the link for the Kakashi Gaiden dubbed episodes. It felt like I was watching the animation for the first time again, just like on July 29, 2009. (Yes, I remember the date. It was the day that I had to go through six hours of summer camp. Then I literally ran home to watch it. DAMN. I was SO happy to watch it that I was laughing at EVERYTHING. Including the part where Obito died! Hahahah! In my defense, I was laughing because I was so excited that it was animated... Although after I heard Kakashi's Japanese voice crack, the feeling kind of slipped away.)

So, anyway, about the dub.

Erm... Kakashi's English dub voice acting is so different from Inoue Kazuhiko's depiction. For one thing, Dave Wittenburg put SO much emotion into everything he said. So much, in fact, that Kakashi ended up sounding a LOT like a bratty little kid. You see, I liked Inoue Kazuhiko's version better because he made Kakashi talk in such a monotone voice, while mocking people in the polite Japanese tense form! XD Hahahah!

As for Obito, meh. His voice was okay, pretty suitable I guess. But honestly, when I first watched the Gaiden in Japanese, I couldn't really get use to Obito's voice. Not until he got crushed under rocks. But since I'm on that topic, let me say that I loved both English and Japanese depiction for that scene. It was so soft and broken... Well he was crushed under rocks, but that's not really the point.

Although some lines were even more depressing than the Japanese.
Like how the English made Obito say, "I never got to tell Rin... That I loved her."
Versus something like, "I never got to tell Rin my feelings."
... It's basically the same thing, but the English dub struck me a little harder.

"I'll be your eye, keeping watch over what the future brings for you."
(Or something like that.)

Moving on... Well, Minato didn't... sound... awesome. ._. How to put this... Well, he just didn't sound cool. At least not as cool as the Japanese version... And Rin, she was fine. I can't judge her too much since she didn't really say too much, like Minato.

Overall, it was pretty cool.
It's just, I wish Kakashi's English voice was a bit less ... obviously jerk-ish sounding.
(My calm, mocking, monotone voice disappeared!!! D: )

Umm... yeah. Just wanted to get that out of my system since no one really cares to listen.
